My father was a Polish prisoner of war who immigrated to Canada and built a life and family here. My mother was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces and earned a university degree at a time when women were expected to stay at home. My parents taught me to be self-reliant, compassionate, and to have a strong sense of service to the community. After graduating from the University of Alberta, I worked had and became the first female partner at an Edmonton law firm. As an advocate, I worked hard to ensure that my clients were treated fairly in a system that can be complicated and overwhelming.

I’ve spent most of my life here in Edmonton, and for our city to thrive we need a government that will focus on creating and protecting good, well-paying jobs, supporting Canadian workers, boosting investment and building even stronger economy – without going backwards on social policy.

We live in a moment of deep political uncertainty and turmoil and our country and values are at risk. I’m running as part of Mark Carney’s team because I am committed to being a strong and trusted voice for our city and will stand up for our country, it’s economic prosperity, and our sovereignty.
